There are two retention ponds and underground piping to help guide the overflow water from the property into these temporarily rather than letting it flow into the sewer system. You can pull a vehicle into the bay that is completely encased in ice and in a half hour it is mostly clean and ready to go back out there. And you can open the doors on a freezing day, pull a vehicle in or out, close the door, and have it back up to temperature within a few minutes. The construction of the building is entirely steel with an architectural textured surface block wall completely around the building. We even have a spare pallet of the textured bricks if there were ever damage. The wall between the shop and office is a fire rated sheetrock to protect the office side should there be a fire in the garage portion. Inside the building, all of the ceilings are vaulted ceilings with large, light providing windows at the top of the wall. The garage doors are insulated, have viewing windows, and are powered.
